Python Job: Full Stack Developer

Matrixian Group is looking for an experienced Fullstack developer who will further improve our customer platforms. We are experts in data science with location specific data (house values, local insights and mobility). We are looking for someone with modern-day essential engineering skills who wants to be part of a young ambitious Amsterdam based data science company.

You...worked for approximately 4 years in a company as a software developer, you enjoy hands-on development and you have the energy and sense of responsibility for becoming our pillar regarding development.

What you'll do

• You will be the starting point of our Amsterdam based team so you are self-starting, responsible and like to take ownership.
• You will work on further stabilization and development of the data intensive platforms (AVIX, Matrixian Platform, Public) and their tools, maps and API’s.
• You are a hands-on person and equally at ease working on front-end as well as back-end stories.

Required tech skills

• Approx. 4 year proven track record in front- and backend software development.
• Advanced knowledge of PHP (Symfony v.4.4.x PHP framework with PHP version 7.4).
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Knowledge of mongo DB.
• Knowledge about: Docker, Jenkins, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Python (data science/engineering), Git, Bitbucket, Atlassian.
• Knowledge of developing and integrating API’s and mapping functionality.
• Experience and thorough understanding of testing (automation).

Required professional and soft skills

• You take ownership of your work and have a high sense of responsibility; You are a self-starter and delivering good quality work is very important to you.
• You are a teamplayer; You are sensitive regarding the needs of the different stakeholders and you communicate accordingly.
• You are flexible; you are capable of switching between different projects and are able to cope with (last minute) changes.
• You are eager to learn.
• Your English and Dutch are solid.
